A BILL to repeal sections fifteen and sixteen, article four,
chapter seventeen-d; to repeal section two, article six of
said chapter seventeen-d; and to repeal section fourteen-b,
article three, chapter thirty-three, all of the code of West
Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended,
all relating to abolishing requirement of proof of financial
responsibility for the future, and abolishing the credit
against premium tax for investing in West Virginia
securities.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That sections fifteen and sixteen, article four, chapter seventeen-d be repealed; that section two, article six, chapter
seventeen-d be repealed; and that section fourteen-b, article
three, chapter thirty-three all of the code of West Virginia, one
thousand nine hundred thirty-one as amended, be repealed, all to
read as follows:
§1. Repeal of sections relating to using a bond as proof of
financial responsibility; using money or securities as
proof of financial responsibility; self insurers; and
credits against premium tax for investment in West
Virginia securities.
Sections fifteen and sixteen, article four, chapter
seventeen-d; section two, article six of such chapter and section
fourteen-b, article three, chapter thirty-three, all of the code
of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as
amended, are hereby repealed.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to abolish the
requirement of proof of financial responsibility for the future,
the credit against premium tax for investing in West Virginia
securities and the option of self-insurance.
